Saudi Arabia’s first refractory anchor production facility brings manufacturing, engineering and specialised welding support closer to industrial operators across the Kingdom and wider IMEA region.
On 14 September 2026, SILICON AOSCO opened Saudi Arabia’s first refractory anchor production facility in Dammam’s 2nd Industrial Zone. Established by SILICON and Al Otaishan Holding, the facility brings manufacturing, engineering and welding expertise closer to the people responsible for keeping critical plants running. This makes it easier for customers across the petrochemical, cement, steel and power industries to access responsive local services throughout Saudi Arabia and the wider IMEA region.

The opening brought together representatives from across the region's industrial sector.
Following speeches from SILICON AOSCO, Al Otaishan Holding and SILICON, guests attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and toured the new production facility.
Technical presentation, including Rapid Arc Welding (RAW) demonstration, was followed by networking and lunch. We were grateful for the strong interest and for the opportunity to mark this milestone together.
