On 14 September 2026, SILICON AOSCO officially opened Saudi Arabia's first refractory anchor production facility in Dammam. Established as a joint venture between SILICON and Al Otaishan, the facility combines local manufacturing with decades of engineering and welding expertise to serve customers in the petrochemical, cement, energy and steel industries across Saudi Arabia and the wider IMEA region.
To strengthen these industries locally, the facility is equipped with specialised machinery to manufacture standard and custom refractory anchors. Its first customer order, received before the official opening, highlights the immediate demand for faster access to locally manufactured refractory anchors.

SILICON AOSCO manufactures standard and custom refractory anchors for high-temperature industrial applications. The company's technical team supports customers with anchor design, alloy selection and engineering guidance to improve operational reliability, extend asset life and reduce maintenance requirements.
