Collecting and using personal data from customers, suppliers, and other contractors
We’d like to point out to you that we will collect and use the personal data you have given us because this is necessary to be able to conclude and implement a (possible) agreement with you. This applies to both our (prospective) customers and to parties from which we purchase products and/or services.
If you are a (prospective) customer of ours, we will use your data to send you a quotation, to determine what specifications or wishes a certain item or service should meet, deliver items or perform work for you, to send you an invoice and communicate smoothly and efficiently with you about the implementation aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (prospective) supplier or other contractor, your personal data is also necessary for the conclusion and implementation of the agreement. For purchase, it is necessary to be able to let you know what specifications or wishes a certain item or service should meet in our opinion, send you a request for quotation or place an order with you, pay your invoices and communicate smoothly and efficiently with you about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obliged to give us your personal data. However, if you provide us with no or insufficient personal data, it may be possible that we cannot implement the aforementioned activities.
In connection with the implementation of a (possible) agreement, we may have to pass on your personal data to parties that supply us with parts, materials, and products or carry out work commissioned by us. Finally, because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data will also be passed on to the supplier of this service.
If you place orders with us regularly, we will store the personal data you provide and use it to inform you in the future by email of our existing products and services and maybe make an offer to you. We have a legitimate interest in the use of your personal data for this purpose, namely selling our products and services. Each time we send you an advertisement mailing, you have the option to let us know you no longer want this. For this, see the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing. If you are a one-time customer with us, we will only send you advertisement messages if you have given prior permission for this.
If you have requested a quotation from us but have not become our customer, we will remove your data no later than one year after our last contact. If you did become our customer, we will keep your personal data for a duration of seven years after the end of the financial year in which our agreement with you was fully implemented. This period of seven years is equal to the period we are obliged to preserve our administration for the tax authorities. After this period has ended we will remove your personal data.
