SILICON Rapid Arc Welding B.V is part of SILICON Holding and is specialized in design, development, and manufacturing of specialized welding machines. The welding technology is a unique technique called Rapid Arc Welding (RAW). It’s a revolutionary welding method whereby fasteners are welded to a steel casing in a fraction of a second.
SILICON is looking for an Assembly Employee who wants to develop themselves in the welding services industry. In this position, you will assemble the RAW welding equipment to be used on the installation sites worldwide!
Established in 1982, SILICON has evolved into a global frontrunner in metal fabrication. We specialize in refractory stainless-steel fastening and anchoring systems, alongside cutting-edge welding machines. With a dedicated workforce of approximately 85 talented professionals, SILICON is renowned for delivering top-quality products and services to the petrochemical, chemical, cement, construction, and shipbuilding industries worldwide.
Besides assembling the equipment, you will also contribute to improving work and/or assembly processes, check the equipment for any defects and solve these problems.
As an Assembly Employee, you ensure that the equipment operates 100%. Other activities include:
Producing welding machines, welding guns, and cables by assembling parts and sub-assemblies.
Keeping the equipment operational by completing maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing repairs.
Reading and reviewing technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Documenting actions by completing production and quality forms.
Keeping a clean and tidy working area.
We are looking for an Assembly Employee who can blend technical and administrative expertise with the following qualifications:
Completed secondary vocational education (MBO) level, preferably a technical education.
Experience with production and/or assembly workHighly communicative and a good command of English language.
A strong sense of responsibility, an eye for detail, and a focus on quality.
A VCA and forklift certificate, or willing to get these.
Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions.
