During a recent project in France, we were tasked with an inspection of a Distillation Tower that had suffered a severe explosion in 2017. The blast left the surface heavily damaged and cratered, requiring immediate and highly effective intervention to stabilize the unit back then.
The Rapid Arc Welding (RAW) team was mobilized at the end of March 2025 for a focused two-day site assessment of the installation completed in 2017. The team comprised one RAW Operating Supervisor and one RAW Supervisor. The objective was to evaluate structural stability and identify any critical areas requiring remediation.
