Regional Account Manager

Established in 1982, SILICON has evolved into a global frontrunner in metal fabrication. We specialize in refractory stainless-steel fastening and anchoring systems, alongside cutting-edge welding machines. With a dedicated workforce of approximately 85 talented professionals, SILICON is renowned for delivering top-quality products and services to the petrochemical, chemical, cement, construction, and shipbuilding industries worldwide. 

What are your responsibilities?

As our Regional Account Manager, you support customers in resolving their refractory challenges.
You’re responsible for the entire sales process, from acquiring new clients to growing existing relationships, while also being accountable for the following:

  • Spotting new opportunities and open doors with potential clients.

  • Build strong relationships and turn prospects into long-term partners.

  • Manage the sales pipeline, turnover, and margins  of your own region.

  • Follow up on marketing leads and convert them into deals.

  • Keep track of your visits, opportunities, and results.

  • Follow market insights and industry trends.

  • Team up with engineers to give powerful product demos.

You will do this as part of the sales team that consists of 6 other account managers and 5 inside sales colleagues.

  • Salary between €5.000 and €7.000, matching your experience.

  • Sales bonus system according to the defined sales targets.

What are your qualities?

We're looking for someone who possesses a strong commercial mindset. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a technical or commercial background.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar B2B role within a technical or commercial environment.

  • Excellent knowledge of international sales processes.

  • A proven ability to prospect new clients and close deals from scratch.

  • Proactive, social, and good presentation skills.

  • Fluent in English AND French

  • Knowledge of the industry.

  • Willingness to travel around the world to visit our clients.

  • In possession of a valid driver's license.
