There are those remote project sites where SILICON’s crew heads back to yearly. Here is the story of one of them! Back in 2020, SILICON’s full-service solutions were chosen for the ability to greatly reduce the length of emergency outages to perform the work at the mine site in Canada.

In 2023, SILICON completed another urgent repair.
This year, our crew flew in for planned work, and guess what? Yes, once again SILICON’s team completed the installation ahead of schedule. This project was moved to an earlier start date, but thanks to our service capabilities, the team of three could accommodate the changes even with short notice. The installation crew included a Project Manager, Quality Control Technician and RAW Operator, who examined the site and installed 1500 SpeedVee® Dual anchors and FiberFix Studs (FFS) just within 2 days!

SpeedVee® Dual incorporates the successful design philosophy of the SpeedVee® and has been specifically developed for dual linings. It is an ultimate outperformer. It is safer, more reliable and more cost-effective because it saves time during turnarounds. FFS 310S alloy is easy to weld thanks to the decreased amount of carbon in it.
