Following the successful completion of its leadership transition, SILICON, a global leader in engineered solutions for heat-resistant anchors, studs, fasteners, and welding systems, is accelerating its international expansion strategy for 2026. With the handover from founder Wouter Garot to Konrad Eichberger now finalized, the company is set to strengthen its market position in key industrial sectors worldwide.
A Solid Foundation for Future Growth
Konrad Eichberger, who assumed the role of CEO in September 2025, has spent the past months aligning the organization with its long-term growth ambitions. Bringing over 14 years of enterprise leadership experience, including 4 years as CEO and more than a decade as CCO, Eichberger’s focus is on scaling SILICON’s innovative engineering solutions for the petrochemical, cement, steel, maritime, and waste-to-energy industries.
Vision for 2026: Innovation and Sustainability
As SILICON moves into 2026, the company is prioritizing advanced engineering and sustainable growth. “I am honored to lead SILICON into this next chapter,” said Konrad Eichberger. “Our focus is clear: we are developing refractory solutions that withstand extreme conditions while enhancing operational safety and efficiency for our partners. Together with our global team, we will continue to innovate and meet the evolving needs of the heavy industry.”
The leadership shift allows Wouter Garot to transition fully into his role as Founder and Advisor, ensuring that four decades of industry expertise remains available to the company while the new executive team spearheads global operations. The completion of this transition marks a significant milestone for SILICON.
