In light of the recent developments of the COVID-19 outbreak in the European Region, we want to inform you on the new set of measures that we as SILICON have made in order to keep our employees and customers as safe as possible, while reducing the risk of contagion to a minimum.
In this sense, we have decided to adhere strictly to all advice provided by the World Health Organisation as well as to all protocols imposed by our local and international authorities.
Since the well-being of our employees and customers is of our absolute priority, all of our employees are fully updated on the current measures and are undertaking extra health and safety precautions to ensure that the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained throughout every aspect of our daily work – particularly for our employees visiting customers.
Therefore, any of our employees returning from the affected areas abroad – or those who have family members or housemates recently returned from any risk region – have automatically been asked to self-quarantine for fourteen days.
In terms of employee mobilization to the jobsites and customer visits, we have decided not to send our employees abroad until further notice. Those already abroad, will be brought home as soon as possible – in an agreement with our customers.
Our service to our customers is never out of our attention. We will continue to service you so that any enquiries and/or orders will be handled to the best of our capacity under the current circumstances.
We will be following developments on a daily basis with a close watch and we will keep you informed when necessary.
