SILICON provides a safe healthy and secure workplace which, as a minimum, accords with applicable laws. We take measures to identify hazards and prevent or minimize the risks of incidents and disease. For instance, we have policies and training in place to prevent and handle incidents of Violence and Harassment in the workplace. We have policies in place to ensure an ergonomically sound workplace for office employees as well as for production employees. We have policies for sharing any violations safely and securely, with the involvement of an in-house Trustee for the potentially required anonymity and confidentiality.
To ensure safety at jobsites, we try to reduce the number of people involved in the facility. Our smart RAW technology allows for installation with fewer people on site (60-70% less staff required in one space compared to hand welding), as well as shortened installation times.
