Technical Maintenance Employee

SILICON is a manufacturing company that produces metal studs and fasteners. Since its creation in 1982, they have become the international frontrunner in providing stainless steel anchoring systems. These anchoring systems are delivered to the petro-chemical, high oven and shipbuilding industries. The products are produced in a series of steps to fit the customer's need.

Job Description

Because of the continuously growing range of products we offer for anchoring systems, we need a Technical Maintenance Employee to assist in our Maintenance Department.

Tasks

  • Plan and implement maintenance for the machines.
  • Implement a protocol to assist purchase in making ratio of price/quality per machine.
  • Categorize type of cost, type of Maintenance and time consuming for every machine.
  • Repair components of the machines when necessary.
  • Replace the (damaged) components of the machines.
  • Localize errors on the machine, and make a report about it.
  • Inform the management about the condition of the machines.

Responsibilities

  • Make sure the machines are in a high condition.
  • Communicate about the errors and maintenance to the supervisor.
  • Prevent errors.
  • Keep your tools in high condition.
  • Consult the supervisor about your reports.

Job Requirements

A Bachelor’s Technical-degree is required even as speaking/reading/writing in English and Dutch. Significant experience in working within a Metal or Technical manufacturing environment is essential.

Silicon RAS is a pleasant employer with an open, informal culture. Silicon RAS has employees with a variety of nationalities. This position is based on a working week of 38 hours with a starting salary based on the CAO-metal. In addition, an annual holiday bonus of 8% and a monthly travel allowance are payable.
